− | Bij het grootspoor rijden de locs, treinstellen en treinen met verschillende snelheden. Ook op onze modelbaan dient het materieel een snelheid te hebben die overeenkomt met de werkelijkheid. Het is geen gezicht wanneer een goederentrein met de snelheid van een TGV over onze modelbaan dendert. We moeten er daarom voor zorgen dat ons materieel met gepaste snelheid rijdt.<br />
